As CEO of San Francisco-based Medweb, Peter Killcommons leads Medweb, a technology firm that has developed innovative telemedicine, teleradiology, and mobile-health services and products. With proven applications in disaster areas around the globe, from Hurricane Katrina to the post-earthquake Port-Au-Prince, Peter Killcommons and his team are currently working to expand Medweb’s presence in Latin America. In July, 2012, Medweb joined forces with HP in hosting a full-day Bogota, Colombia, seminar that explored leading-edge technology trends in health sectors across the globe. In particular, Medweb demonstrated how its full range of solutions will integrate with the HP Colombia portfolio of picture archiving, communications systems, security, point-of-care, and electronic medical and clinical history services.
In August, 2012, Medweb additionally presented on telemedicine at the Cartagena Telemedicine Conference in Colombia, and related side-events.
